Black Sox lose opener 4-1 to Somerville
Black Sox lose opener to Somverville 4-1. J.T. Ross pitched five innings giving up 4 runs (3 earned) taking the loss.
Matt Nicholson pitched a scoreless sixth.
Cam Owens had the lone hit for the Sox. The Sox would score their only
run when Will Baker stole third and scored on catcher Mark Annase's throwing error.
For Somerville, Jon Morse picked up the win picking a strong four innings. Chris Foundas, Sean Sullivan,
and Brian Tanguy pitched well in relief with Tanguy picking up the save.
Chad Connors put Somerville on top in the second inning with a towering home run to left center.
Marc DesRoches started the year off on fire going 3-3.
