Several Black Sox Set To Begin 2009 College Season
As Februrary turns into March, several returning Sox players prepared to being their 2009 season.
Not in the Yawkey League, but in their respective colleges.
J.T. Ross a three year veteran of the Black Sox who lead the YBL in strike outs in 2008, begins
his sophomore year at Northeastern University. The Huskies open their seaons on Feb. 25 against
Eckerd College.
Meanwhile four first time Sox players, are preparing for their upcoming seaon for Framingham State.
Marc Massarotti, Matt Nicholson, Jared Rooney and Steve Tramontozzi begin their 2009 season with
the Rams at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational starting on March 14.
